Gratitude List, Sun. 12/6/09

If you read my blog from yesterday, the idea is to be inspired enough to share the top 10 reasons why you are grateful with your contact list and an anonymous soldier. You can find a soldier at anysoldier.com, remember without their efforts, we wouldn't have so much to be grateful for!

Top 10 Reasons I'm Grateful today:

I am grateful because even though it's cold and winter is here, for us in San Diego that means it's 54 degrees. While it did get down into the 40's overnight and the clouds are forming to bring us rain, it is still mild compared to what most of our country experiences.

I am grateful for my husband who works EVERY single day to provide for us. He works through the pain in his knees, a stiff shoulder, swollen knuckles from the cold, and a sore back from standing on concrete.

I am grateful for the opportunities I have to reach out and inspire others. Even if you don't create your own gratitude list, you might at least read mine and feel better about your own circumstances today.

I am grateful that I have enough money in my account to go grocery shopping.

I am grateful that my daughter Sarra, who lives with us, has taken over the household chores and cooking in lieu of room and board. This allows me more time to network, and create coaching clients.

I am grateful that I didn't get one e-mail back telling me NOT to send them my gratitude list. I am grateful for everyone who shared with me how it effected them and that they are willing to be Ambassadors and champion the cause.

I am grateful that I can put a sweatshirt on and go walking down in the valley below. I am grateful that I live in a country setting and have woods, streams, ponds, horse trails and nature's beauty to greet me every day.

I am grateful that it is the holiday season and I can participate in a variety of ways without spending a dime. There are decorations and lights and programs and activities all around San Diego.

I am grateful that even though I'm in financial crisis I have learned valuable lessons. I know who my friends are and that they love me and support me. I have learned what matters most in life and believe me, I didn't buy it at Nordstrom's.

I am grateful to all the coaching clients I have. They have taught me that when I'm encouraging them, I am also speaking out loud to hear my own voice and take action.

Please pass this on and add your own reasons for being grateful!
